As mentioned, Tsutsui is the author of the manga Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai, which he has published in the weekly magazine Shonen Jump of the Shueisha publisher since February 2017. Currently, the manga already had its end, but Tsutsui clarified that the serialization will have five different endings inspired by each of the heroines.

The work inspired an anime adaptation of thirteen episodes aired between April and June 2019 and produced as a collaboration of Arvo Animation and Studio Silver studios. Subsequently, there was a second season broadcast between October and December of the same year, which had an original ending closing the story.
