A statement was released through the official website for the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine of the Shueisha publishing house in which they ask their readers to be sympathetic if more breaks are to be presented within the serialization of the series that published in the magazine. It is also mentioned that, for them, the health of their workers is very valuable and that all necessary measures will be taken to protect them against the current outbreak of COVID-19 in Japan.

Eiichiro Oda, author of the One Piece manga, issued a statement a few days ago in which he also made reference to the fact that his series could present multiple delays so as not to risk the people who help him with its publication in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga will have a momentary pause and will not be published in the magazine until May 25 (tentative date).
