SEGA's first pet is back! Merge Games revealed through the Summer of Gaming event the development of Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, remake of the 1986 original for Master System.
The distributor obtained the rights of SEGA as they did recently with Streets of Rage 4, and they assure that the new Alex Kidd will not only have visual improvements, but more and new levels with better challenges, more game modes and even the option to access in a retro style, as happened long ago with the remake of Wonder Boy.
Will this renewed classic appeal to contemporary gamers?
It will hit PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2021.
