Assault Lily franchise will have a new manga in July

In the July issue of this year's Monthly Bushiroad magazine, from the Bushiroad publishing division, it was revealed that the Assault Lily multimedia franchise will have a new manga adaptation to be published starting with the magazine's next issue, 8 of July.


Assault Lily Project is a multimedia franchise that is based on a line of 1/12 scale figures made by the Azone International company and the Acus creative group in 2013. The cast members also participated in the adaptation to Bushiroad's play. Assault Lily: League of Guardians which was presented in Tokyo between January 9-15, 2020.

The franchise is also inspiring an anime adaptation produced by Shaft Studios, directed by Shouji Saeki and scripts written by Mieko Hosoi. The release was scheduled for July, but was postponed until October due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on production.

Synopsis of Assault Lily Bouquet

On Earth in the near future, humanity faces the imminent annihilation on the part of a mysterious giant creature known as "the Huge". The entire world unites to confront this threat, and they successfully develop the weaponry known as "CHARMS" combining science and magic.

The "CHARMS" demonstrate high rates of synchrony with teenage carriers, and the girls who use "CHARMS" are considered heroines known as "Liliums". Throughout the world, “Garden” institutes are established to train teens in the use of “CHARMS” and confront the Huge. This will be a story about girls seeking to become the defense of humanity.
