The emotional wounds never close in the month of April, nor in the rest of the year when it comes to Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (also known as Your Lie in April), due to its shocking romantic drama that left more than one emotionally devastated . However, it is time to review some of the scenes that were inspired by various real-world settings.

Most of the scenes in Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso take place in the Nerima neighborhood, west of Tokyo, where the Nerima Cultural Center is located, where the series mostly takes place.

And not far from the music establishments, near the Nerimatakanodai station, is this picturesque little place on the side of the Shakujii river.

This is the place where, in the second episode of the series, Kaori and Kousei have an important discussion, and although in the photos the trees have not blossomed, they still serve as inspiration.

Kousei also walks to this same spot in the final episode, while reading Kaori's letter.

Just a few steps away is a small playground, in Shakuji Park, one of the most used locations in the series. It is a small and quiet park, with two large ponds and several small sanctuaries to visit.

And finally, what is simply a railroad crossing for most of the people who transit there, becomes the setting for the final revelation of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, when Kousei finally reads Kaori's letter.

While this may be the last time for the viewer to see Kaori, it should also be noted that this is where Tsubaki finally summons up the courage to return to Kousei's life.

This crossroads is located between Kami-Shakuji station and Musashi-Seki station, along the Seibu Shinjuku line and, as shown in the pictures, they are identical in both anime and real life.
