Oresuki's OVA episode reveals new details

Through different distributors, such as AmiAmi, the characteristics of the anime's OVA episode were listed based on the light novels written by Rakuda and illustrated by Buriki, Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo (also known as Oresuki), highlighting that its duration will be approximately 60 minutes.


The Blu-ray / DVD version will also include a couple of special illustrations, a brochure, a short novel written by the author, the CD with the song "Jikiruna Haido" performed by Haruka Tomatsu (the voice of Pansy) as well as with the band. Original soundtrack, and director's comment option. The launch is scheduled for next September 2.

For his part, Rakuda began publishing the light novels in February 2016 through the Dengeki Bunko imprint of the Kadokawa publisher. The publisher published the thirteenth volume in December 2019 and will publish the fourteenth on June 10 in Japan.

The play inspired an anime adaptation released in October 2019 and produced by CONNECT studios. The series had a total of twelve episodes. In fact, this OVA episode will end the story presented in the series, however, there has been no confirmation of a second season.

Oresuki Synopsis

The story centers on Amatsuyu “Joro” Kisaragi, an ordinary high school boy who is invited by two beautiful girls to speak alone: ​​the first is his senpai, Sakura “Cosmos” Akino, and the second is his childhood friend Aoi. "Himawari" Hinata. Hoping that both of them will confess their love to her, Joro triumphantly attends to see them only for them to confess that they are in love with their best friend, Taiyou "Sun-chan" Ouga.

Joro reluctantly agrees to help them get their attention, hoping to take advantage of the situation when one of the two loses, however, bookworm girl Sumireko "Pansy" Sanshokuin confesses to her, and it turns out that her best friend Sun-chan he's really only interested in her. What a mess!
