The fifth season of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki reveals new cast members

On the official site for the series created by Masaki Kajishima and directed by Hiroki Hayashi , Tenchi Muyo! , new voice cast members were revealed for the fifth season of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki .

New cast members include (from left to right):

Yoshiya Naruke as Hakeru Komaisyo.
Hana Takeda as Milon Femme.
Kei Shindou as Dart Shank.
Misato Fukuen as Area Balta.
Sawako Hata as Bet on Rumah.
Sara Emi Bridcutt as Paruty Julai.

This new season of OVAs will be distributed in a total of six Blu-ray releases, scheduled for the following dates:

Volume # 1: February 28, 2020.
Volume # 2: May 29, 2020.
Volume # 3: August 28, 2020.
Volume # 4: November 27, 2020.
Volume # 5: February 26, 2021.
Volume # 6: May 28, 2020.

Originally Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki is the title of an OVA released in 1992 that was the first in a multimedia franchise, with numerous sequels and spinoffs. The OVA was followed by Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki Dai-2-Ki (the second season) and by Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki Dai-3-Ki (the third season).

Recently, the fourth season of OVAs titled Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki Dai-4-Ki premiered in 2016 after 11 years of franchise downtime. The season had four episodes, the last being released in September 2017.

Keitaro Motonaga ( Katanagatari , Digimon Adventure tri. , Date A Live ) is in charge of directing the anime at AIC studios . Sayuri Sakimoto ( Grisaia , Made in Abyss: Fukaki Tamashii no Reimei ) is in charge of the animation. Masaki Kajishima is credited again with the original idea, character designs, and overall direction of the project. Hideki Shirane is writing and supervising the scripts for the series. Yasunori Honda returns as the sound director.
