Crunchyroll
and Sony Pictures Entertainment have announced a special
cinematic event titled "Sink Your Teeth: A Tokyo Ghoul
Celebration," which will bring the best of Tokyo Ghoul anime
back to U.S. theaters. The single performance will take place on
Monday, July 21 and will last 2 hours and 26 minutes.
This event
will screen six key episodes of the anime's first season,
specifically episodes 1, 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12, all in their dubbed version.
It's an ideal opportunity to relive the beginning of Ken Kaneki's tragic
fate, or to enter the dark world of ghouls for the first time.

The story
begins when Kaneki, a lonely student and lover of literature, suffers an
accident after a date with the mysterious Rize. An emergency
surgery saves his life, but turns him into a hybrid between human and
ghoul. In a world where humanity and ghouls are in constant conflict,
Kaneki must discover his place in a society where you hunt or are
hunted.

a celebration of one of the darkest and most impactful works of modern anime.
The screening will only be available in theaters in the United States and
for one night only, so it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance. In
addition to the event, fans can watch Tokyo Ghoul in its
entirety on Crunchyroll, both in Japanese with subtitles and
in dubbing.
