The Yotsuba to! Manga will have a special exhibition

Being its eightieth special exhibition, the Manga Museum "Osamu Tezuka" in Hyogo Prefecture will hold the event "Kiyohiko Azuma" YOTSUBA to! " Exhibition of Original Manga Drawings ”, between June 8 and October 18 of this year. In fact, this event was to take place between March 20 and June 27, but was postponed due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on planning.
The comedy and accounts of life manga written and illustrated by Kiyohiko Azuma won the Grand Prize at the twentieth edition of the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Awards, held in 2016. The exhibition focuses on Azuma's latest original sketches, including those not They have been published in the compilation volumes, as well as drawing materials, production videos, and advertising materials, original illustrations for foreign publication, and other important production materials that can only be seen in this place. The number of objects to be exhibited amounts to more than 200.

Additionally, during the event five restaurants will be open on the premises, which will offer a special menu in collaboration with the Yotsuba to! Manga, and which will include a small brooch of the protagonist.

  • “Yotsuba-do”, for 1,100 yen, at the Chinese food restaurant, “Tenshin”.
  • Fuuka’s Three-type Pound Cake and Toochan’s Freshly Ground Coffee, for 1,210 yen at Café Darbukka.
  • "Jumbo-don", for 1,200 yen in the Tempura Ajigoyomi "Suzuki".
  • "Yotsuba Pancake", for 1,650 yen at the Cafe de Voorá.

It is a manga series written and illustrated by Kiyohiko Azuma, who has published it in Kadokawa magazine Monthly Dengeki Daioh magazine since March 2003. The publisher published the fourteenth compilation volume in April 2018.
