The 98th edition of the Comiket was scheduled to take place last May, however, it was canceled as a preventive measure against the outbreak of COVID-19 in Japan.

La Comiket is the largest doujinshis market in the world where hundreds of artists put on sale their own version of well-known manga or own creations. Large entertainment franchises or animation studios also often participate, offering limited-edition products for sale.
