On the official Twitter account for the manga written and illustrated by Namori, Yuru Yuri, an image with four character silhouettes was published, revealing that the author will reveal his new project on July 31.
For his part, Namori began the publication of the Yuru Yuri manga in 2008 and the Ichijinsha publishing house published the eighteenth compilation volume on May 27. The play has inspired three anime adaptations, several OVAs, and other spin-offs.
Namori recently also participated in character design for the Release the Spyce and Endro ~! Anime, released in October 2018 and January 2019, respectively.
Synopsis of Yuru Yuri
Akari Akaza meets Yui Funami and Kyōko Toshino at a school for women only. During the duo's first year, Yui and Kyoko formed the Fun Club that occupies the now existing Tea Club room. Shortly after Akari joins, one of her classmates, Chinatsu Yoshikawa, pays a visit to the trio with the impression that they are the Tea Club; Only when the three girls explain that the Tea Club has dissolved, can they convince Chinatsu to join the Fun Club, a group with no other purpose than to offer entertainment to its members.
