A work
that marked generations

of the North Star manga was originally published in Shueisha's Weekly
Shonen Jump magazine between September 1983 and August
1988, and was collected in 27 volumes. Since then, it has had

film in 1995 starring Garry Daniels.
Official
synopsis of the new anime
In the
year 199X, the world was consumed by a nuclear inferno. The seas disappeared,
the land was devastated, and humanity was nearly wiped out... but he has not
yet perished.
Among
the ruins, survivors struggle for water and food, but their hopes are crushed
by violence. In this lawless land, only force rules.
Out of
despair emerges a lonely man with seven scars on his chest: his name is Kenshiro,
heir to the legendary assassin art Hokuto Shinken. While pursuing
his sworn enemy, Shin, who took his fiancée Yuria from
him, Kenshiro responds to the cry of the oppressed, becoming a symbol of hope.
In front
of him rise cruel enemies, marked by greed and power. In a world where the weak
are prey and prayers are lost in the wind, Kenshiro will lead the way with his
iron fists!
With a
production that promises to revitalize this anime classic, Hokuto no
Ken is preparing to impact a new generation with its message of
strength, justice and redemption.
