A few hours after the arrest of the writer Tatsuya Matsuki for sexually abusing two minors was announced, it has been reported through social networks and personal blogs that in several bookstores and online stores in Japan, the demand for buying the compilation volumes of the Act-Age manga have increased greatly to the point of exhausting them.

Some think that possibly, during this week, all the physical formats of the manga could be sold out in stores since, in the event of a possible cancellation, the value of these releases could multiply.

Currently, many bookstores in the Japanese country have already taken measures to avoid the possible massive resale of the volumes of the manga, among which we can highlight that only one volume per person will be sold as well as a specific time in which this product will be put on sale .

Act-Age is a manga series written by
Tatsuya Matsuki  and illustrated by  Shiro Usazaki , who began their publication in the magazine  Weekly Shonen Jump  publisher Shueisha in January 2018. The publishing house published the eleventh volume compilation on 13 May.

Act-Age Synopsis

The story centers on Kei Yonagi, a high school student whose dream is to become an actress. She lives with her two younger brothers, after her father abandoned them and her mother passed away.

Kei has an impressive talent for acting, to the point where she is able to get so into character that she abandons reality. During an audition, some speculate that her incredible talent could also be dangerous to herself, and she is not accepted. However, Kei captures the attention of a renowned director named Sumiji Kuroyama, who hires her in order to showcase her talent and potential.
