Live-action series Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo reveals the performer of its theme song

On the official site for the live-action series adaptation of the manga written by Mari Okada and illustrated by Nao Emoto, Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo, it was announced that the 17-year-old singer, Saki Misaka, will perform the main theme song for the project, with the single titled "Tomo yo Koi yo".


The series has its premiere scheduled for September 8 in Japan through MBS and TBS television stations. For their part, Okada and Emoto published the original manga in Kodansha publisher's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine between December 2016 and September 2019. The publisher published the eighth and final compiled volume in October 2019.

The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Lay-duce Studios, directed by Masahiro Ando and scripts written by Mari Okada, released in July 2019.

Synopsis of Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo

The girls at a high school's literature club do a questioning session at the start of the year to break the ice, this starts with something simple, "What is something you would like to do before you die?" One girl replies, " Having sex. "

Little did they know that the mere mention of that word would unleash a whirlwind that will push each of these girls, with different origins and personalities, towards their own awkward, funny, painful and emotional paths towards adulthood.
