Teekyuu author to launch new manga in September

In this year's ninth issue of Akita Shoten publisher's Young Champion Retsu magazine, it was announced that Tsugeo Terada and Munyuu will begin publishing a new manga titled Onee-chan ga Game wo Suru to Hito Kawaru Onee-chan, in the next issue of the magazine, on September 15.

Terada is also the author of the Teekyuu manga, illustrated by Piyo, who began their publication in Earth Star Entertainment's Comic Earth Star magazine in February 2012 and ended in January 2015, with a total of fifteen compilation volumes.

The play inspired a nine-season anime adaptation produced by MAPPA Studios (Seasons 1-3) and Millepensee Studios (Seasons 4-9), under the direction and scripts written by Shin Itagaki. In total, 108 episodes were accumulated.

Synopsis of Teekyuu

The four girls from the Kameido High School tennis club have fun daily lives at the club. The new member of the club, Yuri Oshimoto, is forced to be the butt of pranks from her senior senior students. Then there's Kanae Shinjou, the stupid machine who can't play tennis even though she's at the club; Marimo Bandou, the unpredictable pervert from Kansai; and Nasuno Takamiya, the mysterious rich and hollow-headed girl who wants to solve everything with money.

Today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, regardless of whether they are all there or not, is this really a manga about sports?
