In the video, the YouTuber stated that she leaked her Live2D model during a test broadcast on the TwitCasting platform. Although she received permission from management to broadcast, she did not remove the video after the broadcast, resulting in the content being leaked.
Aloe also spoke about an incident in which a man was pointed out by some users about being her romantic partner and, consequently, she was harassed. She stated that she cut ties with this person prior to her debut and asked viewers to refrain from communicating with him. She also claimed that she has been receiving phone calls from strangers online and asked her viewers to refrain from doing this as well.
"During my suspension, I will reflect on this," she concluded in her message. “I hope I can learn about this situation and see all of you once again as a better version of myself. I am deeply and sincerely sorry. "
On the other hand, Cover Corp., the company that runs the Virtual YouTubers agency Hololive Production, also issued a statement on Twitter apologizing for the inconvenience caused by the incident. In their publication they stated that, in addition to Mano Aloe taking a two-week break from its activities, the company will continue to strengthen its organizational structure.【お詫び】— カバー株式会社 (@cover_corp) August 17, 2020
