Try to
avoid your tragic fate in an otome game and you'll end up getting the wrong
guy's attention. The anime adaptation of the romantic comedy and isekai Yowaki
MAX Reijo nanoni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta (Even
Though She's a Timid Young Lady to the Max, She Agreed to Her Shrewd Fiancé's
Bet) released a new trailer full of details, officially announcing that its
broadcast will begin on October 4.
The newly released trailer not only offers a glimpse into its protagonist's chaotic dilemma, but also allows us to hear the main theme songs for the first time. Singer Konomi Suzuki will perform the opening theme song "Goki MAX Sengen," while voice actress Miku Ito will lend her voice to the closing theme titled "Yoake Made ni." In addition, the production confirmed the arrival of new talent to the voice cast, incorporating Haruka Shiraishi in the role of Amelia Keys, Shogo Sakata as Phillip and Shoya Ishige giving life to Mike.
These
voices join a stellar cast led by Miku Ito herself in the role
of the shy Pia Rockwell and Ryota Osaka as the cunning Rufus
Stan. The main cast is completed with the participation of Rina Hidaka playing
Caroline Ramsey, Sora Amamiya as Erin White, Haruki
Ishiya in the role of Henry Cox and Shizuka Ishigami giving
life to the child version of Rufus.
The
animation of the series is in charge of the Jumondo studio
under the direction of Nobuaki Nakanishi. The scripts are
supervised by Hiroko Fukuda, while the music is being composed
by Moe Hyuga and Natsuki Hamada. For his
part, Hyun Sik Choi is in charge of adapting the character
designs for the screen, supported by Kazuhiro Arai in the art
direction, Jin Aketagawa in the sound direction and Kunihito
Noritomo in charge of the photography direction.
Born from
the pen of Hiro Oda, the story began its digital publication on the
Shosetsuka ni Naro portal in January 2020, making the leap to the printed
format with illustrations by Tsubasa.v under the imprint of
the Kadokawa publishing house. The work also has a popular manga adaptation
illustrated by Aji Murata on the Comic Walker site since 2021,
adding more than 1.2 million copies in circulation between all its formats. The
plot begins when an ordinary college student reincarnates as Pia, a
ten-year-old high school villain in an Otome game. Knowing that the original
game ends with the cancellation of her engagement and her subsequent exile, the
little girl tries to break off the relationship with Rufus Stan prematurely.
However, her strange request only arouses the curiosity of the young man, who
proposes a seven-year bet to see if the wedding will really be canceled.
