Lugh Tuatha
De is ready to sharpen his claws again and prove why he is the most feared
killer in two worlds. After a wait that lasted for more than four years, the
Kadokawa company released the first official trailer and a promotional image
for the second season of Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha,
Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru (The World's Finest Assassin Gets
Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat), confirming that the
series will return to television in January.
The new
promotional video brought with it important revelations for the followers of
the isekai, highlighting the incorporation of new figures to the voice cast.
Renowned actress Sumire Uesaka joins the cast to play Epona
Rhiannon, the legendary hero and firstborn of the Rhiannon baronal house.
Likewise, actor Yusuke Tonozaki will lend his voice to Neusche
Gephis, a talented student who enters the Royal Knight Academy positioned at
the top of the S rank from day one
For the
peace of mind of the community, the main voices of the original installment are
fully confirmed for this sequel. Actor Kenji Akabane will
reprise his role as the methodical Lugh, accompanied by Queen Ueda playing
Dia, Yuki Takada playing the faithful Tart and Shino
Shimoji in the role of Maha. The behind-the-scenes production team
also maintains its fundamental pillars, with the SILVER LINK studio
taking over the animation under the direction of Masafumi Tamura.
The scripts will continue under the supervision of Katsuhiko Takayama,
while Eri Nagata returns to sign the character design
and Kenichi Kuroda returns in the musical composition under
the Lantis label.

Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha
Born from
the pen of Rui Tsukiyo with illustrations by Reia,
the story began its digital publication on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in
July 2018, before being adapted into the light novel format by Kadokawa
publishing in early 2019. The premise follows the most brilliant assassin in
the modern world, who after being betrayed by his own bosses and dying in an
induced accident, is reincarnated by a goddess in a fantasy world on the
condition of eliminating the hero destined to destroy him. Assuming the
identity of Lugh, the heir to a prominent family of aristocratic assassins, the
young man combines his extensive technical knowledge of Earth with the deadly
magical arts of his new home to become an unstoppable force.
