Asta and
the Black Bulls are ready to break it again. After a long wait that kept the
community on a knife's edge, the production officially confirmed that the second
season of the Black Clover anime will premiere
on October 3. In addition to setting the return of the kingdom of
Clover, the groups in charge of setting the pace for the continuation of Asta's
journey to become the Wise Man were revealed.
This new
installment will bring the story to a head with the invasion of the Dark Triad,
the ruthless rulers of the Pike Kingdom who harbor the fearsome power of the
demons of the underworld. With Queen Lolopechka in danger and Captains Yami
Sukehiro and William Vangeance kidnapped, Asta will have to cross the line and
into forbidden territory to gain the true power of a demon if he is to have the
slightest chance of saving his friends.
To
accompany this intense stage of the conflict, the band WANIMA will
perform the opening theme titled "Kienai Riyu". Meanwhile, the
eight-piece global boy group ONE OR EIGHT will be in charge of
the closing theme with their song "Yellow Brick Road," which will be
released on digital platforms on October 7. MIZUKI, a member of the band,
shared his excitement to participate in this project of which he has been a fan
since its inception, noting that the message of the song reflects the spirit of
Asta and his companions to overcome their own limits and move forward despite
adversity.

Based on
the successful manga written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata, the
work began publication in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2015 and
later moved to the Jump GIGA, concluding its serialization in May 2026 with
more than 24.5 million copies in circulation worldwide. The first season of the
animated adaptation aired between 2017 and 2021, followed by the film Black
Clover: Sword of the Wizard King in 2023. The story places us in a
world where magic is everything, following Asta, a young man born without a
single drop of magical power who clings to his dream of becoming the Wizard
King using Anti-Magic, an ability capable of nullifying any spell.
