The announcement was accompanied by a first promotional trailer that compiles the most decisive moments of the first stage, making it clear that the ambition of its protagonist is just beginning.

Although the company has not yet revealed the release date for this sequel, the news was received with enthusiasm by those looking for complex plots full of oratory, fragile alliances and war twists. The animation will maintain the seal of Studio Kafka under the direction of Kazuaki Terasawa, with Takahiko Abiru again in character design and general animation direction. The structure of the scripts will once again be in charge of Teruko Utsumi, while the art direction will continue to be under the signature of Seiki Tamura.

In the sound section, acclaimed composer Kevin Penkin returns to delight the audience with his scores, recalling the work of the first installment where Tatsuya Kitani performed the opening theme "Hidane" and the singer Leina contributed the closing theme "Chikai". The voice cast will continue to be led by renowned seiyuu Kensho Ono in the role of brilliant strategist Aoteru Misumi, accompanied by Asami Seto as Saki Higashimachi, Takashi Nagasako as Denki Taira, Jun Fukuyama as Yoshitsune Asama, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Mitsuhide Ryumon and Yuichi Nakamura giving life to Yasuaki Kaku. Written and illustrated by Ikka Matsuki, the original manga began publication on the Manga ONE app and Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website in 2021. The work transports the reader to a Japan of the near future that has returned to barbarism after suffering nuclear wars, natural disasters and years of government corruption. The nation ended up divided into three warring factions in a new era of the Three Kingdoms, until Aoteru Misumi, a humble local official armed with prodigious intellect and unstoppable eloquence, decides to set out on the path to reunify the entire country. The work has been critically acclaimed, obtaining nominations in the prestigious Manga Taisho awards and positioning itself among the most outstanding readings of the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! guide.
