The sweetest and most heartwarming love story in recent anime is ready to give us another unforgettable chapter before the big day. The My Happy Marriage (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) franchise officially confirmed that its long-awaited three-episode animated special will air and air on October 25, 2026, also releasing an emotional promotional trailer to excite fans.
This new
project will continue the events that occurred at the end of the second
season, focusing on the period where Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudo
strengthen their relationship while waiting for the arrival of their wedding.
However, tranquility will be threatened with the arrival of Kimio Nagaba, a
former classmate of Miyo's from Miyo who married into an influential military
family. Although he shows a congratulatory attitude towards the couple, the
character hides a dark presence that promises to bring tension to the
plot. The seiyuu M.A.O will be in charge of lending her voice
to this new addition, joining the main cast where Reina Ueda returns
as Miyo and Kaito Ishikawa as Kiyoka.
The
animation work will once again be in charge of the acclaimed Kinema
Citrus studio, with Takehiro Kubota directing and
composing the series. The scripts will be written by Mika Tanaka and Ikuho
Negi, while Shoko Yasuda will lead the character design
alongside Hikaru Sato and Kuniyuki Ito. In the sound section, the renowned
composer Evan Call will be in charge of the music, while the
singer Kashitaro Ito will perform the closing theme entitled
"Prelude no Temae ni: ~for me&you~", of which a fragment can be
heard in the trailer.

illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, the story began publication in
January 2019 and has established itself as a true gem of
