The final chapter of the manga written and illustrated by Naoko Kodama, Umineko-sou Days, was published in the tenth edition of this year's Comic Yuri Hime magazine from Ichijinsha publishing house.
The magazine had already announced in May that the series had entered its plot climax. Kodama began publishing the manga in Ichijinsha publisher's Comic Yuri Hime magazine in January 2019. The publisher published the second compiled volume last January, and will publish the third on September 29.
Kodama is also the author of the yuri Netzusou Trap manga, which she published in the same magazine between November 2014 and December 2017, with a total of six compilation volumes published. This manga inspired a twelve episode anime adaptation produced by studious Creators in Pack, directed by Hisayoshi Hirasawa and scripts written by Yuuichi Uchibori, and released in July 2017.
Synopsis of Umineko-sou Days
When Mayumi's fiancé leaves her for another woman, Mayume impulsively decides to move and start over in some town on the coast. Once there, she meets Rin, a strong but gentle single mother who runs the "Seagull Villa" apartment complex.
While the two women may not have much in common, they begin to grow closer and closer, with the relationship becoming deeper than they bargained for. Thus begins a story of yuri romance in the ocean.
