Futari Ecchi manga goes on hiatus until April

In this year's second issue of Hakusensha publisher's Young Animal magazine it was announced that the manga written and illustrated by Aki Katsu, Futari Ecchi (Step Up Love Story / Manga Sutra) will go on hiatus until April due to the author will undergo surgery. The statement did not reveal any further details.



Katsu (Psychic Academy, Tenkuu no Escaflowne) began publication of the manga through Hakusensha publisher's Young Animal magazine in January 1997. The publisher published the eighty-first compilation volume on June 26, followed by the eighty-second one last year. November 27.


The play inspired a four-episode OVA produced by Chaos Project studios and released in July 2002. Subsequently, a three-episode OVA was produced by Production Reed studios and released in Japan in October 2014. These have been the only adaptations. animated images of this work.


Synopsis of Futari Ecchi


Makoto and Yura Onoda are a newly married couple with no sexual experience. Yura is a shy and naive 25-year-old woman whose beautiful appearance catches the eye of men, something she doesn't like because she is so easily embarrassed. Her husband Makoto is the same age, but unlike his wife, he loves to have lustful thoughts with other women, although he is actually completely faithful to Yura.


They may both be virgins, but now that they are married they are more than ready to dive into the world of sex, "practicing" as often as possible. However, the pleasurable world of sex is complex, so they need all the help they can to find their way through it. Fortunately their friends, acquaintances, and porn are there to help them.
