A post on Twitter went viral in recent days after mentioning an old instance of censorship carried out by Viz Media, which consisted of an alteration by placing a bra on a scene from the manga written and illustrated by Akihisa Ikeda, Rosario to Vampire (Rosario + Vampire), where she originally appears with exposed breasts.

“If you like manga, then don't support Viz Media or related people. They have started censoring the manga by making stupid changes and denigrating the author's original work, "wrote the original post. However, he subsequently removed it. Doing a more recent review, the author of the post pointed to the user “Sailor D.J. Says ”, who responded by mentioning that he was not involved in said edition.

Later, another comment also contributed some other censorship made by Viz Media, specifically one applied to the manga written by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, One Punch Man, where the contrast of Jigoku no Fubuki's tight clothes was increased. (or just Fubuki) so that her breasts wouldn't stand out as much.

It seems that more and more companies in the West that revolve around manga and anime are being consumed by the wave of censorship which, in turn, shows a great lack of respect for the original material made by the author. Companies like Sentai Filmworks and Funimation have also been singled out for pushing the use of unnecessary policies in their dubbing and even modifying subtitles. What has been your most recent experience of censorship in manga or anime?
