In previous days it was revealed that the voice actor and interpreter Ricardo Silva was hospitalized due to a complication caused by COVID-19, however, his family made a statement on social networks to report that Ricardo's health status was stable. Today, unfortunately, it was announced that this endearing and iconic character within the general culture of Latin America, lost his life.


Ricardo Silva had a long career in the entertainment and television industry interpreting different themes from animated series such as Dragon Ball Z, Super Champions, Eyeshield 21, Ninja Turtles, Inuyasha, Digimon 02, Kenichi, Pokémon, Sonic: The Hero , The Gummi Bears, Chip & Dale, Phineas and Ferb and many more. He also ventured into the world of dubbing, playing various characters in movies and series. Without a doubt, his most iconic participation was with the Dragon Ball Z series, where he performed the song Cha-La-Head-Cha-La.


Some of his colleagues and friends within the dubbing industry have already expressed condolences for Ricardo's family, who will undoubtedly leave a great emptiness in the hearts of all anime lovers who grew up with his themes.
