KRAFTON
JAPAN has
announced that “ PUBG MOBILE ” (available on iOS and Android)
will be launching a collaboration with the anime “ Sousou no Frieren -
Beyond Journey’s End ” on April 1, 2025. The news, revealed this week,
has excited fans of both universes, though specific details regarding the
collaboration have yet to be revealed. The promotional image shows
Frieren, the anime’s protagonist, hugging a Level 3 Helmet, accompanied by the
words “Frieren, toward the PUBG battlefield.”
As part of
the promotion for this collaboration, a campaign is being held on X (formerly
Twitter) in which participants can win a 5,000 yen Amazon gift card. To
participate, simply follow the official account and share the event-related

- " Sousou no
Frieren " is a manga created by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa
Abe , which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday in
April 2020. It has been adapted into an anime by Madhouse .
The manga has won several awards, including the New Creator Award at the
25th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2021 and the 14th Manga Taisho Award
in the same year. It was also nominated for the Kodansha Manga Awards in
2021 and 2022.
- The voice cast includes Atsumi
Tanezaki as Frieren, Kana Ichinose as
Fern, Chiaki Kobayashi as Stark, Nobuhiko Okamoto as
Himmel, Ikumi Hasegawa as Ubel, among others.
- The production team at Madhouse Studios
includes Keiichirou Saitou as director, Tomohiro
Suzuki as scriptwriter, Reiko Nagasawa as
character designer, and Evan Call as composer.
- The story follows Frieren, an
elf mage who, after defeating the Demon King, begins to understand what
human life means when her friends die over time. She embarks on a new
journey to fulfill her companions' wishes and learn about life.
