Great
news for fans of "The Idolmaster Million Live!"! As we mentioned in our previous
article ,
the anime is getting a new OVA episode, and now we have more news about it.
The
second special trailer for the OVA has been released, featuring an interaction
between the Producer and Misaki Aoba , as well as some intriguing scenes
featuring microphones and instruments in the hands of mysterious characters.
Best of all, the main cast returns: Shinya Watada is back as director, and
Yoichi Kato is once again in charge of the script.
But
that's not all: the 12-episode series, which aired in 2023, is also coming to
Japanese television. Starting
April 8, it will air on TOKYO MX every Tuesday at 11:00 PM (Japan time). Stay

- "The Idolmaster Million
Live!" is a multimedia franchise derived from "The
Idolmaster," which began with a video game of the same name. The series follows a new
group of idols working alongside each other at the 765 Production agency
with a producer at the 765 Live Theater.
- The original idol training
simulation video game was developed and published by Bandai Namco
Entertainment in February 2013 for Android and iOS. A rhythm game was later
released in June 2017, and an anime adaptation premiered in fall 2023
(October–December), with a total of twelve episodes.
- The voice cast includes Haruka
Yamazaki, Azusa Tadokoro, Machico, Asami Imai, Akiko Hasegawa, Hiromi
Hirata, Yumi Hara, Eriko Nakamura , among others.
- The production team includes
names such as Shinya Watada in direction, Yoichi
Kato in writing and script supervision, Tetsuya Ishii and
Kahori Tsuta in character design and animation direction, with
production handled by Shirogumi Studios .
- The story centers on Mirai
Kasuga, who seeks to pursue a dream she has yet to achieve; Shizuka
Mogami, who yearns to become an idol and is faltering; and Tsubasa Ibuki,
who still doesn't know how seriously she can take her path. In 765
Production, the new idols will gather together, and their
"dreams" will come true in the theater.
