The
premiere of "The Beginning After The End" is approaching , and more
news keeps coming! As we mentioned in our previous news , the anime will debut on
April 2 in Japan and will have a total of 24 episodes, with Crunchyroll
handling its distribution in the West.
It has
now been revealed that the ending theme song, "Mahiru no Tsuki (Midday
Moon)," will be performed by singer-songwriter Seiza. Additionally, Fuji TV is now
airing the credit-free ending sequence, along with a sneak peek of the first
episode. A comment from Seiza regarding her involvement in the series was also
included:
- No matter where we are in the
world or how far away we are, we can all see the same moon. Thinking about
it makes me feel like this sky truly connects us. As a symbol of that bond
between those who depart and those who say goodbye, I drew inspiration from
the white moon floating in the blue midday sky, creating a song that
conveys warmth and a maternal sense. This is the first time I've written
an original ending song for an anime, but I think, in the best sense, I
managed to create something that remains true to me. Join Arthur on
his journey. I hope you enjoy!
