Light novels written by Ryou Shirakome and illustrated by TakayaKi , Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou ( Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest), are close to reaching their plot climax ( which also translates to being close to completion ). The information was confirmed in the sixth and final volume of the prequel spinoff novels, Sekai Saikyou Zero's Arifureta Shokugyou .

Shirakome began publishing the novels on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2013, and subsequently OVERLAP publisher began publishing on paper with illustrations by TakayaKi in June 2015. The publisher published the eleventh volume in July 2020, followed from the twelfth in June 2021 in Japan.

In addition to a manga adaptation by RoGa , the franchise inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by studios Asread and WHITE FOX , and released in July 2019. A second season produced by Asread and Studio Mother will premiere on January 2022.

Sinopsis de Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou

High school student Hajime Nagumo is bullied by his classmates for being a couple with the school idol, Kaori. When he and the rest of the class are transported to a fantastic world, all of his companions are given powerful magical abilities, while Hajime only gains basic alchemy magic to transmute solid materials, something common to blacksmiths. During a raid to a dungeon, he is betrayed by one of his companions and thrown to the bottom of it. Hajime survives the fall and begins creating weapons to escape the dungeon and become stronger. On his way, he meets the vampire Yue, and is later joined by the rabbit-eared girl Shea, the perverted dragon Tio, and others.
