On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Hotondo Shindeiru , Isekai Ojisan ( Uncle from Another World ), it was announced that the series will restart its broadcast from the first episode on October 6 in Japan. The eighth episode, which was postponed indefinitely, has now been scheduled until next November 24, if there are no more suspensions.
The anime's production committee indefinitely delayed the broadcast of the eighth and subsequent episodes earlier this month, citing the rapid rise in COVID-19 infections within Atelier Pontdarc studios and other studios involved in the anime's production. Instead, the anime is re-airing the third through sixth episodes throughout September. The anime has already suffered a two-week delay in its fifth episode, from its scheduled broadcast on August 3 to August 17, due to a similar spread of COVID-19 within the studio.
On the other hand, the series has been broadcast since July 6 and is confirmed with a total of thirteen episodes. Hotondo Shindeiru has been publishing the manga through Kadokawa publisher's ComicWalker service since June 2018, after publishing it independently through Twitter and Pixiv for a while.

But everything changes when his uncle, an ordinary human, shows him that he learned to use magic in the other world. Thus, when Takafumi realizes that the magic his uncle uses is completely real, he proposes that she use his skills to become a successful YouTuber. Now taking care of him, Takafumi and his uncle start to get involved in the streaming life, while his uncle tells him from time to time about his life in the other world.
