During the Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event , the first promotional video for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Hajime Komoto , Mashle ( Mashle: Magic and Muscles ), was revealed. The press release confirms that the premiere is scheduled for the year 2023 in Japan and reveals the production details.
Koumoto began publishing the manga through Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in January 2020. The publisher published the eleventh compiled book volume in May 2022, followed by the twelfth on July 4 in Japan. According to the official site, the adaptation will cover the entirety of the original work.
Synopsis for Mashle
To everyone else in his magic-dominated world, young and powerless Mash Vandead is a threat to the gene pool and must be purged. Living secretly in the forest, he spends every day training his body, building muscles strong enough to compete with magic itself. However, seeing his identity exposed and his peaceful life threatened, Mash begins her journey to become a "divine seer", a role so powerful that society will have no choice but to accept his existence. .
Thus, to maintain her peaceful life, Mash, without magic, enrolls in the prestigious Easton Magic Academy, competing with the sons of some of the most powerful and elite in the kingdom.
