A leak from Weibo and the registration of the internet domain “ https://temple-anime.com/ ” gave indications that the manga written and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka , Temple: No One Can Live on Loneliness , will have an anime adaptation. . Yoshioka began publishing the manga through Kodansha publisher's Comic Days digital service in September 2018. The author is perhaps best known for being the illustrator of the Grand Blue manga , which is written by Kenji Inoue . This manga is published in the magazine Good! Kodansha 's Afternoon since April 2014, and inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Zero-G studios , under the direction and scripts written by Shinji Takamatsu , released in July 2018. To date there is no indication of a second season.
