A leak from Weibo assured that the manga written and illustrated by Eku Takeshima , Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau ( Whisper Me a Love Song ), will have an anime adaptation. The leak did not reveal production details or a scheduled release date, so we will have to wait for an official confirmation soon.

Eku Takeshima began publishing the manga in Ichijinsha 's Monthly Comic Yuri Hime magazine in February 2019, and it has published six compiled book volumes to date. Yuricon 's Erica Friedman noted in her review that while the story isn't groundbreaking, it is " so likable and filled with such likable characters that she's a joy to read ." Instead, The OASG criticizes its ability to sustain interest in the series: “Eku Takeshima is betting the success of this entire story on the strength of the relationship between Himari and Yori and while that might have worked if this story was a short one-shot, it's nowhere near enough for an entire series ."

Synopsis of Sasayaku You and Koi look at Utau

Yori Asanagi is a mature girl in many ways, but she remains pure when it comes to romance. This sentiment is demonstrated when a freshman, Himari Kino, suddenly confesses her love for her after her band's performance at the opening ceremony. Confused and surprised, Yori asks her friends for a consultation, but they make fun of her, telling her that she is experiencing her love. Yori soon makes up his mind and tries to reciprocate Himari's feelings, but in a turn of events, she realizes that what Himari loved was not her, but her music!

Sasayaku You ni Koi wo Utau revolves around the relationship between Yori and Himari. As Yori continues to pursue her love for Himari, he vows to make Himari fall in love with her. However, will this passionate love blossom or will it continue to be unrequited?
