Hibike! Euphonium dates its third season with a new visual

 The official site for the third season of the anime adaptation of the franchise based on the novels written by  Ayano Takeda  and  Nikki Asada ,  Hibike! Euphonium  ( Sound! Euphonium ), revealed a new promotional visual. The press release confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for April 2024 in Japan . Animation production continues to be handled by Kyoto Animation studios .

This third season will be set in Kumiko's third year of high school, with our protagonist as one of the last year students of the Kitauji High School Music Band.


For their part,  Ayano Takeda  and  Ayano Takeda  began publishing the light novels through the Takarajimasha publishing house in December 2013, and finished it in June 2019 with a total of twelve volumes. The work was adapted into a manga by Hami , who published it between November 2014 and October 2015, for a total of three compiled book volumes.

The novels inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by  Kyoto Animation studios , under the direction of  Tatsuya Ishihara  and scripts written by  Jukki Hanada , released in April 2015. A thirteen-episode second season premiered in October 2016. franchise also includes the production of four animated films.

Synopsis of Hibike! Euphonium

Kitauji High School Marching Band Club had a participation in national championships and was a well-known school, but after the club manager was changed, they have not been able to participate in the qualifying championship again. However, thanks to the strict guidance of the new manager, the students begin to improve their performances and gain self-confidence. While improving individually, some prioritize their studies and decide to leave the club. Finally, the long-awaited day of the competition arrives, will your effort pay off?
