Popular ecchi manga adds netorare (NTR) warning

Have you heard of the manga “ Daredemo Dakeru Kimi ga Suki (I Like You Who Can Have Sex Anyone)”? The name probably doesn't ring a bell, but you've probably seen the story in a Twitter post or in a Facebook meme. The story centers on Gotou, a virgin high school student who is in love with Agawa, a girl who loves sex.

After seeing her having sex in an empty classroom at school, Gotou falls in love with her and finally asks her to have sex. Although this makes them sexual friends, Gotou still wants to make her relationship official and have Agawa all to himself, but in the meantime he must bear that he is not her only sexual friend.

The story has advanced a few chapters, since it began publication in April of this year. While the plotline had already drawn attention on its own, the most recent chapter definitely garnered even more attention as it added what everyone knew was bound to come at some point: netorare (NTR).

While “ Chapter 15 ” showed a more determined Gotou having sex with Agawa again after she turned down a handsome and popular sex buddy, “Chapter 15.5” showed a rather different situation . This chapter, in fact, included a very particular first page, with a warning where the following can be read:

  • « NTR Content Warning: The protagonist will be shown having sex with someone other than the protagonist. Please do not read this story if she has a weak heart ».

Well yes, this chapter shows Agawa having sex with the sexual friend that he rejected just in the previous chapter (actually, it is a memory from the past). However, the peculiar content warning drew attention and soon inspired comments from netizens:

  • « Is this seriously netorare? I understand that they are not officially a couple, and he knows that she still sleeps with other men ».
  • « This is not netorare. The protagonist is just her sex toy, and she was already sleeping with other men before she met him. For anything, it would be the protagonist who makes the NTR ».
  • « To be honest, I will never understand the NTR. Why should I bother reading this? It is the protagonist's decision to like a girl who sleeps with anyone who asks her to. Why should I feel bad for him? ».
  • « The problem is when the patients insert themselves into the subject who is being deceived. Perhaps they feel represented as weak men? It seems very strange to me ».
  • « Well, we all know that she is a bitch. She cannot really be unfaithful if this is known in advance ».
  • I don't know what they expected of her, if she is portrayed as a bitch from the beginning of the story ."
  • « The protagonist is pathetic. He witnessed how her girl was fucked by another subject, and this only made him fall in love with her ».
  • At least the author knows that readers have grown weaker and more pathetic as time goes on ."
  • « From the first chapter we saw her having sex with another subject who was not the protagonist, what is the surprise? Are there seriously readers who identify with the protagonist? ».
  • « There is literally no NTR because there is no infidelity as such. She is a slut and is not officially the protagonist's girlfriend ».
