A press release announced that the manga written by Sekka
Iwata and illustrated by Yuu Aoki will be in charge of the
animation.J.C.STAFFJ.C.STAFF in Japan, while the studios is
scheduled to premiere sometime in 2024), will be adapted to the anime. The
project Kabushikigaisha Magi-Lumière (Magilumiere Co. Ltd.,
Sekka Iwata and Yuu Aoki began publishing the manga through
the publisher's Shonen Jump Plus service Shueisha in October
2021, and is still in publication. This is the screenwriter's first serialized
work, since he had previously published the one-shot “Sekai no Owari no
Pen-friend (Pen Pal at the End of the World)”.
Synopsis of Magilumiere Co. Ltd.
In this fascinating story, Kana Sakuragi, the college
student struggling with her job search, finds herself unexpectedly immersed in
the intriguing world of magical girls. The startup that recruits her not only
offers her employment, but introduces her to a new universe full of mysteries
and challenges.
Kaii, that natural threat that only magical girls can
combat, becomes the focus of Kana's work. As she immerses herself in this new
job, she discovers her own magical powers and awakens abilities she never imagined
she possessed. The narrative unfolds between the fight against the Kaii and the
intricate aspects of the daily life of a magical girl.
