Renowned
Japanese singer Konomi Suzuki has announced through her
social media that she will perform the new theme song titled “Finistellar” for
the anime Summer Pockets , an adaptation of the visual novel
developed by Visual Arts/Key .
The anime
premiered in Japan on April 7 on Tokyo MX and BS11 ,
followed by MBS and Shizuoka Broadcasting System on
the 8th . It then aired on AT-X on April
10 and on TV Setouchi on April 11 .
For international audiences, Crunchyroll is streaming the
series simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast.

story full of nostalgia
Summer
Pockets is set
on a remote island, where the protagonists experience a summer filled with
memories and emotions. The original work debuted as a visual novel for PC in June
2018 , and was later adapted for other platforms such as the
Nintendo Switch , PlayStation 4 , and mobile
devices . The English version arrived on Steam in February
2020 .
Notable
creative contributors to the original project include Jun Maeda (Kanon,
Clannad, Angel Beats!) as concept artist, and character designers Na-Ga , Tsubasu
Izumi , and Nagayama . The script was written by Yū
Niijima , Kai , and Hasama , while
music was written by Shinji Orito , Donmaru ,
and Tomohiro Takeshita , in addition to Maeda himself.

Pockets expands with new projects
The
Summer Pockets universe continues
to grow. In May , artist wogura will launch the Summer
Pockets -Natsu no Takaramono- manga on Shueisha's Tonari
no Young Jump website . Additionally, since February 28 ,
the spin-off manga Summer Pockets Mugyu Days ~Tsumugi no Shima Sanpo~
has been available in Dengeki Moeoh magazine and on
the KadoComi website , with illustrations by Yūnon
Nagayama , one of the game's original designers.
With the
addition of Konomi Suzuki, the animated adaptation strengthens its emotional
charge, promising an even more moving experience for fans of the Key studio
.
