During the event JUMP FESTA 2024 a message
written by Gege Akutami was presented , who noted that “this
would be the last Jump Festa during which Jujutsu Kaisen would
be serialized.” With this, the author confirmed that the work will be
completed at some point before December 2024, when the next edition of Jump
Festa will take place.
This is not the first time that Gege Akutami has made a
statement of this type, since during the Jump Festa 2023 event, held in
December of last year, the author had already indicated his plans to finish the
work “starting one year after the date in question.” Furthermore, in
February 2021 he had said that “the work would be completed in two years from
then,” and neither of them ended up being fulfilled.
The message wrote:
- «This is probably the last Jump Festa in which “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be published. An exhibition of original illustrations will be held on next summer. Although it is such an exhibition, “Jujutsu Kaisen” is made with digital manuscripts, how on earth am I going to do something like that? After discussing it with the bosses, we decided to use some materials I have lying around, such as names and drafts, to create a display that people will see and think: “I want to draw manga too!” We are currently doing trial and error on the material together. Keep trying! And all of you, please come to the exhibition when it starts!».
During the event, the cover of the twenty-fifth compilation volume of the work was also revealed, which will be released on January 4, 2024 in Japan. The literary franchise has also surpassed 90 million accumulated copies in circulation.
Gege Akutami began publishing the manga in the
publisher's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine was
subsequently produced and released in December 2021 in theaters in Japan. A
second season is currently airing.Jujutsu Kaisen 0. An animated film

season of the anime adaptation had a total of twenty-four episodes and

Sinopsis of Jujutsu Kaisen
High school student Yuuji Itadori, who engages in
baseless paranormal activities with the Occult Club, spends his days in the
club room or in the hospital, where he visits his bedridden grandfather.
However, this leisurely lifestyle soon takes a turn for the strange when he
unknowingly comes across a cursed object. Triggering a chain of supernatural
events, Yuuji suddenly finds himself immersed in the world of curses - terrible
beings formed from human evil and negativity - after swallowing said object, which
is revealed to be a finger belonging to the demon Sukuna Ryoumen, the “King of
Curses”.
Yuuji experiences firsthand the threat these Curses pose
to society while discovering his own newfound powers. Introduced to the Tokyo
Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical School, he begins to travel a path from which he
will not be able to return: that of a Jujutsu sorcerer.
