On the official site for the anime adaptation of the
manga written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Toshi
Aoi , “ Wistoria: Wand and
Sword ( Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria )”, a new
promotional video for the project was revealed. The video confirms that the
premiere is scheduled for July 7 in Japan , and shows a fragment of
the musical themes, which include:
- The
band PENGUIN RESEARCH will perform the opening theme
titled “ Fire and Fear ,” while singer TRUE will
perform the ending theme titled “ Frozen .”
Fujino Omori ,
who is also the author of the “ Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa
Machigatteiru Darou ka? (DanMachi: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls
in a Dungeon?)”, the publication of the manga began through the magazine Bessatsu
Shonen Magazine from the Kodansha publisher in
December 2020, where it is still in publication.
Sinopsis of Wistoria: Wand and Sword
Will Serfort dreams of fulfilling the
promise he made to a childhood friend and becoming Magia Vander, one of the
powerful wizards who sit atop the Wizard Tower. However, he is unable to cast
the simplest of spells, forcing him to fight dungeon monsters to earn credits
at the Regarden Magic Academy. As if that were not enough, he is forced to test
his sword skills against a bully professor.
