A press release reported that the manga written
by Ayano Takeda and illustrated by Musshu ,
“ Flower and
Asura ( Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku )”, will
have an anime adaptation produced by Studio Bind that will
premiere sometime in 2025 in Japan . The release also included
the production team for this project.
For their part, Ayano Takeda and Musshu began
publishing the manga through Shueisha 's Ultra
Jump magazine in June 2021, where it is still in serialization. Takeda
is also the author of other franchises such as “ Hibike! Euphonium ”
and “ Liz to Aoi Tori “, which have stood out a lot thanks to
their anime adaptations by Kyoto Animation .
Sinopsis of Flower and Asura
Kana, who lives on the small island of
Tonakijima, population 600, loves to read to the island's children. Mizuki, the
president of the school's broadcasting club, recognizes Kana's ability to
relate to people through reading, and invites her to join the club. “Tell me
what you really want and I will make it happen.”
“I want to join the broadcasting club.”
Kana decides to join the club, and as she experiences many “firsts” with the
members of the broadcasting club, she begins to deepen her love for reading…
