The official site of the “ Mahou
Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ” franchise announced that a special project
will be released for the series' 20th anniversary . The
first project of this celebration will be titled “ Lyrical Selection ”,
an edited version for television of the films “ Mahou Shoujo Lyrical
Nanoha The MOVIE 1st ” and “ Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha the
Movie 2nd A’s ”, which will premiere in October-2024 in Japan.
The 2010 film, “ Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha
The MOVIE 1st “, is a reinterpretation of the original 2004 television
anime, and is considered an alternate continuity. Similarly, the 2012 film,
“ Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A’s ,” is a remake
of the 2005 sequel anime.
The “ Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ”
franchise was created by Masaki Tsuzuki and began in 2004
with the television series of the same name. Since its premiere, the series has
managed to capture the attention of a wide audience thanks to its mix of
magical action, endearing characters and an immersive narrative.
The story began as a spin-off of the PC game “ Triangle
Heart 3 ”, in which Nanoha Takamachi was a supporting character. The
anime series debuted in 2004 and quickly distinguished itself with its more
