This
article includes spoilers for the manga “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My
Dress-Up Darling).” Reader discretion is advised.
The most recent chapter of “ Sono
Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru ( My Dress-Up Darling )”
had ended on a sour note, with Marin Kitagawa telling Wakana Gojo that
she no longer needed him, and that she wanted him to stop making dress-up
outfits for her. cosplay in the future . Marin did not do it with
malicious intent, in fact, she made this painful decision knowing that, by
helping her, Gojo was neglecting her training as a doll maker.
While fans were already getting fed up
because they thought that author Shinichi Fukuda was dragging out a drama that
could have been resolved with a simple conversation (a
controversy that was even commented on by the Japanese themselves), the
revelation of the most recent chapter, Chapter 107, finally brought the climax
of the ongoing arc and a moment that readers had been waiting for over
six years.
Continuing from the previous scene, Gojo asks Marin
why she is making this rash decision. She admits that she feels that she has
come between him and his dream of becoming a doll maker. With this,
Gojo ties up the loose ends and realizes Marin has jumped to a conclusion,
pointing out that if he spent all his time practicing he would go back to being
the same antisocial man he was before.

Gojo thanks Marin for pulling him out of
that hole and teaching him how to live his life. However,
Marin immediately remembers the moment when Gojo looked completely upset during
Marin's success at Comiket, so he asks her for an explanation about this. Gojo
can't muster the will to answer him, so Marin turns around and tells him to
leave immediately.
It is the moment of the climax of the
chapter, Gojo begins to fight against his internal insecurities ,
as he promised himself that he would never declare his love for Marin for fear
of breaking up their friendship. But anxiety overcomes him: “ Because
I felt jealous ,” He admits . Gojo points out that he was
jealous of all the attention Marin was getting from her, jealous of others
falling for her, jealous of Marin's cosplay taking her away from him.

That being said, it's like Gojo is asking Marin to
stop cosplaying, so he thinks he's ruined everything. It's too late to fix it,
so she has nothing more to lose. " I love you, Kitagawa-san ,"
Gojo admits. And the moment that readers have been waiting for years arrives,
Marin grabs Gojo by the neck and knocks him to the ground. " I
love you too! I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you so
much, Gojo-kun! », She screams at him desperately.

Marin cannot stand happiness, and after
telling him what she feels, she soon kisses him on the lips while continuing to
tell him that she loves him, ending the chapter .

This confirms that the situation was going to be
resolved with a simple conversation, but what will happen from now on?
Obviously they will have to start a relationship as a couple, but will the
author know how to develop this romance? Some fear that it will
continue the horrible plague that abounds among romantic comedy manga: ending
the story right after the declaration. Only time will tell what will
happen with “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru.”
