During the “ MF Bunko J Natsu no Gakuensai

adaptation of the light novels “ Classroom of the Elite ( Youkoso
Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e )” was announced. This new

For their part, Shougo Kinugasa and Shunsaku
Tomose began publishing the light novels through Media Factory 's MF
Bunko J publishing label in May 2015, and finished the First Year Saga
in September 2019, starting the next one in January 2020 and currently in
publication. Two manga adaptations, one by Yuyu Ichino and
another by Shia Sasane are currently in serialization.
So far, the work has inspired a total of three seasons
for its anime adaptation, totaling thirty-eight episodes, which were first
broadcast in Summer 2017 (July-September) . Despite the
popularity of the story, there are certain criticisms regarding the narrative
quality of the anime adaptation.
Synopsis of Classroom of the Elite
From the outside, Koudo Ikusei High School seems like
a utopia. Students enjoy a great deal of freedom, and yet it is among the best
high schools in Japan. However, the reality is far from that. There are four
classes, from A to D in order of merit, and only the best receive benefits.
Kiyotaka Ayanokouji is a student in Class D, where the school sends its worst
trash. There he meets the unsociable Suzune Horikita, who is sure she was
assigned there by mistake, and wishes to climb the ranks to reach Class A, and
the beautiful Kikyou Kushida, whose goal is to make as many friends as
possible. Although staying at the school is eternal, staying in classes is not,
and students can use any method they see fit to climb the ranks…
