Synopsis of Uzumaki

In the town of Kurouzu-cho, Kirie Goshima lives a relatively normal life with her family. However, one day while walking to the station to meet her boyfriend, Shuuichi Saito, she notices her father staring intently at a snail shell in an alley. Without giving it much thought, Kirie tells Shuuichi about the situation, to which Shuuichi replies that his father has also been acting very strange.  Shuuichi also reveals his desire to escape the town with Kirie, claiming that people have become obsessed with spirals. But his father's obsession soon turns deadly, starting a chain of horrifying and inexplicable events.
