On the
official site for the anime adaptation of Makoto Akui ’s manga
“ Blue Orchestra ,” a new promotional visual
for the project’s second season was revealed. The press release confirmed
that the premiere is scheduled for the Fall-2025 period
(October-December) and that this second season will have a total of 21
episodes.

Akui began
publishing the manga through Shogakukan 's digital service Manga
One in April 2017. Previously, he was in charge of the manga
adaptation of the feature film " Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda (The
Anthem of the Heart)", published between July 2015 and July 2016 in Japan.
Synopsis of Blue Orchestra
Once a
violin prodigy, Hajime gave up music after his father, professional violinist
Ryuuji Aono, became embroiled in a scandal that led to the media hounding his
family. Now living alone with his mother and a senior in high school, Hajime
struggles to find a new profession. However, the sound of his classmate Ritsuko
Akine playing the violin inspires Hajime to dream of a musical career again.
With
Ritsuko's help, Hajime prepares to take the entrance exam for the prestigious
Umimaku High School. But if he wants to join the Umimaku orchestra, Hajime must
overcome his past traumas and open himself to new musical horizons.
