The
premiere of " The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to
Another Kingdom" is
almost here ! As we previously reported , the anime is
scheduled to premiere on April 9 in Japan , and the promotional video
that was revealed shows the opening theme song performed by Riria, titled
"Ai Toka."
Now, during
an event at AnimeJapan 2025, new details have been revealed, including a full
promotional video featuring the opening and ending themes titled
"Sister" by WON. Additionally, the voice cast has been announced,
including Ikue Otani as Elsa Nautilus, KENN as
Mamon, Natsumi Murakami as Emily Martilas, Aina Suzuki as
Amanda Matilas, Nanaka Suwa as Jane Matilas, Hiroki
Touchi as Asmodeus, and Maaya Sakamoto as Fiana
Isphil.
The anime
will premiere on April 9 on TV Tokyo at 24:00 JST (midnight on April 10) and on
TV Aichi at 25:30 JST (1:30 a.m.). It will also be available on AT-X on April
10 and on BS Asahi on April 11. And watch out! A special screening of
the first two episodes will be held at EX Tower in Tokyo on March 29.
This
promising story has revealed the following details so far:
- Kouki Fuyutsuki published the story
in Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2020 and completed it in 2022.
OVERLAP has been publishing it in print since 2021, with
a manga adaptation following in November 2021.
- The voice cast includes Kouhei
Amasaki, Takuya Satou, Kaede Hondo, Yui Ishikawa, Miki Itou, Kentarou
Itou, and Sayaka Ohara .
- The production team is composed
of Shuu Watanabe (director), Keiichiro Ochi (screenwriter), Shuhei
Yamamoto (character designer), and Takaaki Nakahashi (soundtrack
composer). The studio in charge is TROYCA , which
specializes in this type of production.
- The story centers on Philia,
who comes from a family famous for producing generations of saints, and
she is no exception, being known as the most powerful saint of all
time. However, her extraordinary ability leads many to consider
her insufferable, and her fiancé, unable to bear her, calls off their
engagement and sells her to a neighboring country in need of a saint. Now,
Philia faces an uncertain future, with no hope of anyone welcoming her
back with open arms.
