The first promotional video for the project was revealed on the official
website for the anime adaptation of " Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai
Sunzen " (Naru Narumi's manga). This anime, which will premiere in
July 2025 , will be released on channels such as Tokyo MX and BS NTV,
and has generated a lot of anticipation.
In the previous news , details of the voice cast
and production team were revealed, along with a comment from the author, who

This new
story, which finally blends romance into a seinen demographic, has revealed the
following details to date:
- Naru Narumi published
" Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen " in Kodansha 's Monthly
Young Magazine from 2014 to 2023, for a total of 16 volumes. He
is also the author of " Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san ",
which inspired an anime in 2018.
- The voice cast includes Shuuichirou
Umeda as Naoto Watari, Yumika Yano as Satsuki
Tachibana, and Yurie Igoma as Yukari Ishihara.
- The production team includes
names such as Takashi Naoya (Am I Actually the Strongest?, Real
Girl, Übel Blatt) as director at Staple Entertainment studios , Tatsuya
Takahashi (World's End Harem, Eromanga Sensei) as scriptwriter,
and Shoko Yasuda (Am I Actually the Strongest?, Happy
Sugar Life) as character designer and animation director.
- The story centers on Naoto
Watari, who, after the death of his parents, becomes the caretaker of his
younger sister, Suzushiro "Suzu" Watari. Due to his devotion to
Suzu, Naoto isolates himself socially, earning the nickname
"siscon" at his new school. However, his quiet life is
disrupted by the arrival of Satsuki Tachibana, who unleashes secrets from
Naoto's past, threatening his new life
