Good news
for fans of Masakuni Igarashi 's " Mayonaka Heart Tune ( Tune
In to the Midnight Heart )" manga ! As we previously reported , this manga will have an
anime adaptation that will premiere in 2026 in Japan.
Now, the
voice cast for the four main heroines has been revealed, along with some key
details about the production team. The characters will be voiced by Momoko
Seto as Rikka Inohana, Rumi Okubo as Nene
Himekawa, Sayumi Suzushiro as Iko Kirino, and Miku
Itou as Shinobu Uzuki.
As for the
team behind the anime, Masayuki Takahashi (director of
Butareba: The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig) will be in charge of direction
at Gekkou Studios , while Yukie Sugawara (of
Overlord fame) will write the scripts. The character designer will be Tomoyuki
Shitaya , known for her work on "Food Wars! Shokugeki no
Soma" and "Bakuman." The statement included a comment from the
director:
- « The voice, a key
element of the source material, and the space where that voice resonates.
The presence of the charming characters that overflow in every panel of
the manga. Compositions that are both fantastical and realistic. My goal
is to depict the world of the heroines in a more realistic and vibrant
way. I want to create a work that not only addresses the appealing
characteristics of the source material visually and three-dimensionally,
but also does so through the sense of hearing. With the support of the
production team, we are working every day to achieve this. I hope
it will be a work that not only satisfies fans of the original, but also
attracts new viewers, getting more people to become fans through anime .»
The
premiere is still a while away, but excitement is already in the air. We
can't wait to hear what the characters' voices will be like, especially
Apollo's, as the author himself mentioned!

school's broadcasting club who dream of working using their voices.
