A press
release listed that Minoru Toyoda 's manga " Kore
Kaite Shine " is getting an anime adaptation that will air on NTV
in Japan. The release didn't reveal production details or a scheduled
premiere date, but the visual reads, " To all those who love
the manga ."
The statement included a comment from the author regarding
this adaptation: " The anime adaptation has been announced! When I
had my first meeting with the production team, they asked me, “What would you
most like us to consider?” I think the first thing I said was, “I want you to
prioritize the beauty of the island.” Just as I requested, the island
scenery shown to me in the review materials is incredibly beautiful. I’m very
excited to see the girls moving freely in this environment. I look forward to
it with all of you .”
Minoru Toyoda began publishing the manga
in Shogakukan 's Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine
in November 2021, where it is still serialized. The work won awards at
the 70th Shogakukan Manga Awards and also at the 16th
Manga Taisho in 2023 .
