During
the " Digimon Con 2025 " event, the production of a new anime series titled
" Digimon Beatbreak " was announced, which will
premiere in the Fall-2025 period (October-December) in Japan. This new
series will arrive approximately two years after the last installment, and the
motifs of the promotional art highlight the use of purple, showing the
protagonist and his partner Digimon, in addition to the slogan "beings
that devour emotions."
The
promotional video also shows silhouettes of the Digimon that will appear in
this new installment, as well as a glimpse into the show's universe. Unfortunately,
no further details are known about this upcoming production, so we'll have to
wait for more information in future updates.
The
event also featured the promotional video for "Digimon Adventure:
Beyond," marking the end of the twenty-fifth anniversary celebrations for
the "Digimon Adventure" anime. The video included some previously unseen
scenes leading up to the conclusion of the "Digimon Adventure 02"
anime, and was described as follows:
- Time has passed since that
summer adventure, and now there are even more children with Digimon
partners. However, due to their unique nature, many children face the
threat of persecution and being targeted for military use. As Taichi and
Yamato work to rescue the children, they are attacked by mysterious
Digimon.
This video
was directed by Hiroyuki Kakudo at Yumeta Company ,
with Toei Animation in charge of production. Rie
Nishimura ( Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, Digimon
Adventure 02 The Beginning ) was in charge of character designs, and
the video also includes a new version of the song " Brave Heart ",
titled " Brave Heart - DIGIMON Animation 25th Arrange Ver. ",
by Ayumi Miyazaki .
